Photo - BWCA - 1998
I was solo camping in the BWCA and took
this image from 11:30pm to 12:30am, a 1-hour time exposure.
I centered the lens on the North Star, Polaris, so the
Earth's motion dragged the images of the other stars in
a near-perfect circle around it. Note the different color
spectrums of the stars. Also
note that Polaris is not really exactly north...it is
off center from the perfect center. But still pretty close.
